British actor Daniel Craig will reprise the role of James Bond in the 25th installment of the franchise.
After side-stepping the question of whether he would return, Craig recently confirmed in a television interview that he will don the tuxedo one last time as the famous British spy in the upcoming James Bond flick.
Craig had not publicly confirmed the news until now, following reports from The New York Times that his return was a “done deal.”
The British actor also confirmed that his fifth Bond film would be his last.
Craig’s four Bond flicks have been the most lucrative in franchise history.
The last Bond film, ‘Spectre’, brought in USD 880 million worldwide in 2015, while ‘Skyfall’ grossed a hefty USD 1.1 billion in 2012.
In 2008, he played 007 in ‘Quantum of Solace’. In 2006, he took over from previous Bond actor, Pierce Brosnan, with ‘Casino Royale’.
